| Sumitomo Chemical Singapore (SCS) was
established in 1996 and is currently engaged in the manufacture and
sale of MMA monomer and polymers (PMMA), as well as the sale of agro-chemicals,
household insecticides, feed additives and IT-related chemical products
manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical. Our products are exported and sold in Southeast Asia, China, Taiwan, India, the Middle and Near East, South Africa, Oceania, Europe, the US and many other countries. With the rapid increase in demand for MMA monomer and PMMA in Asia, we started production at our newly constructed MMA monomer plant in August of 2005. Furthermore, as the demand for MMA monomer and PMMA are expected to grow continuously, we have already begun constructing a third MMA monomer plant and a second PMMA plant. Both plants will be completed by the beginning of 2008. We are committed to working closely with our customers to meet their needs as their most reliable business partner by providing high quality products and services. And SCS is taking advantage of our strategic location in the heart of Asia to grow and to develop new markets. |
